Every year, Sutton plays host to several major festivals and events that put the region in the spotlight.
From July to October, arts and music take centre stage in the heart of the village and up on the mountain. Here are the must-attend gatherings this summer and fall!
Tour des Arts Sutton
From July 11 to 19, 2026, you're invited to visit the Arts Sutton arts centre for a large group exhibition and to tour local artists' studios. Nearly forty regional artists will welcome you and share their talents. Ceramics, painting, wood, glass, textile, ink, concrete… A wide range of artistic mediums will be on display. And from 5:30 p.m. onward, you can enjoy music
Sutton Jazz
In 2026, Sutton Jazz is divided into four distinct festivals: Jazz en juillet, featuring musicians from the Eastern Townships; Jazz en août, showcasing artists from further afield; Jazz en automne, bringing live music to Mont Sutton during fall foliage season; and Jazz à l'année, held every Sunday at Auberge Sutton Brouërie. From August 6 to 9, 2026, Espace Légion in Sutton will host this festival celebrating traditional Quebec and international fiddle music. Concerts, dance evenings, jam sessions, and masterclasses are all part of the program. Swiss National Day
The largest celebration of this national holiday outside of Switzerland takes place right here in Sutton! On Saturday, August 1st, at the foot of the mountain, spend a festive day exploring Swiss traditions. Folk music, culinary specialties, demonstrations of ancestral customs, and live entertainment will all be part of the festivities. A one-of-a-kind celebration that reflects the deep ties between the Swiss community and Sutton!
Fall Festival at Mont Sutton
A beloved tradition that draws crowds every weekend from mid-September to mid-October! The Mont Sutton Fall Festival offers a wealth of activities for the whole family: chairlift rides, colourful hikes, zip lines, disc golf, mountain biking, outdoor concerts, and more. It's a wonderful opportunity to soak in the splendours of autumn in the Eastern Townships.
