The entire community, and not only a select few, is deploying a range of efforts and initiatives to ensure that buying locally becomes a fact and not simply fashionable words.<\/h6>\n<h6>Due to obvious technical reasons, the popular Christmas Market won&#8217;t be on the agenda this year. To counter this disappointment, a huge effort has been deployed to highlight and support local producers, shops, businesses and restaurants.<\/h6>\n<h4>\n\t\t30 DAYS &#8211; 30 GIFTS\n\t<\/h4>\n\t<p>The <strong>30 DAYS &#8211; 30 GIFTS <\/strong>campaign has been on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tourisme.tourism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sutton Tourism Facebook page<\/a> since November 1st. Discover a panoply of local producers and businesses offering original local gifts idea every day.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/suttontourism.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/30_days.png\" alt=\"30_days\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"1080\" width=\"1080\" title=\"30_days\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n<h4>\n\t\t100% Sutton agri-product baskets\n\t<\/h4>\n\t<p>In partnership with the CEDEC, the campaign presents Christmas baskets brimming with locally produced products. <strong>For every basket sold, a $5.00 donation will be made to the Sutton Volunteer Centre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The most discriminating &#8216;foodies&#8217; will rejoice with the contents &#8211; fir tree honey, local wines, jams, p\u00e2t\u00e9s&#8230; Through a Sutton Tourism initiative, the wrapping of the baskets is courtesy of <strong>Au Diable Vert<\/strong> and <strong>Mont Tricot<\/strong>. The baskets cost $40.00, $60.00 or $80.00 and ordering as of November 28th can be done by emailing info@tourismesutton.ca or by calling (450) 538-8455.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/suttontourism.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Panier-champetre-Sutton.jpg\" alt=\"Panier-champetre-Sutton\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"600\" width=\"900\" title=\"Panier-champetre-Sutton\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n<h4>\n\t\tA unique Advent Calendar &#8211; A tale in the window\n\t<\/h4>\n\t<p>The magical joint effort between <strong>D&#8217;Arts et de r\u00eaves<\/strong> and the artist Patsy Van Roost, gave birth to the &#8216;<em>Tale in the Window<\/em>&#8216; advent calendar project. Between December 1st and the 24th, the chapters of the tale will be displayed in the storefront windows of local businesses.
